[Matti Andersson] (https://www.mamamusik.se/), accordion/accordion performing music from his CD “Never Alone”, solo, together with Johan Lund-Andersson, clarinet, and together with Micke Östergren, harmonica and poems. During the day, parts of the exhibition The Invisibles will also be displayed at Salsta Castle.
Matti Andersson's mother Viola Aura Orvokki worked at Salsta in the kitchen as a cold sidekick in 1953, one of the unseen ones at the castle. She was 23 years old and worked in the kitchen as a cold receptionist. With Micke and Gyösh Baka's exhibition “[The Invisibles] (https://www.ostergrenbild.com/illustration-1)” at Salsta Castle in the summer of 2024, she and the others who worked at the castle were brought back to life. Matti made the 2018 record “[Never Alone] (https://open.spotify.com/album/1RuvIINk8t4rCQR42NbQiw?si=9-7kxXwHQF2uvMgneOsITw&nd=1&dlsi=bb41eb4106314ead)” as a tribute to his mother who, with the words “Learn a musical instrument and you will never be alone.”, encouraged his musicianship. The record includes songs his mother sang and other music he collected over the years.
After the concert, a Finnish-inspired meal will be served with:
